Education Improvement Tax Credit
The Tioga County Foundation, the charitable arm of the Tioga County Development Corporation, is pleased to offer its services as an approved Educational Improvement Organization for the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This is an exciting program that offers businesses the opportunity to support educational initiatives within our local public school districts, Northern Tioga School District , Southern Tioga School District, and Wellsboro Area School District.
The Tioga County Foundation will annually be allocating a portion of the EITC funds for assistance with School-to-Work and Career Development programs in public school districts of Tioga County. Application requests will be considered for funding based on need, meeting the objectives of the EITC program, number of participants benefiting and other funds involved. Applicants from other educational providers, who are working in partnership with our school districts, will be considered for funding, as well.
